Speech Therapist
Carol Kaminski, M.A. – CCC is a Certified/Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist who specializes in working with children. The focus of her practice is to maximize children’s communication potential through activities that are fun and functional.

Carol offers speech and language evaluations and treatment to address needs in the areas of articulation, expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language (social skills), and fluency. She is also available to support parents through the process of a speech IEP/IFSP.

In addition, Carol offers a quick screening to determine if speech services are warranted. This brief, 45 minute quick screen will include a brief assessment of your child’s speech sound production, language comprehension and expressive communication skills. This can help to determine if a detailed speech and language evaluation is necessary. You may want to consider a speech/language screening if you have concerns regarding your child’s communication abilities or he/she is not meeting the age expected milestones. The fee is $50.00 and scheduling is often within 1-2 weeks.

Carol has worked in schools throughout the region for over 30 years. She has taught in the LaSalle University school of Speech-Language-Hearing Science for the past 10 years. Carol resides in the Fairmount neighborhood with her husband and 11 year old daughter.
