Dialectical Behavior Therapy is a highly structured form of behavioral therapy that teaches the skills necessary to regulate emotions, control self-destructive behaviors and improve interpersonal relationships. DBT is an evidenced based/clinically tested treatment that is proven to help children and adolescents with long-standing behavioral problems. DBT helps teach ways to manage emotions more effectively.
To ensure safety, our interactive DBT Skills Groups will be conducted via Zoom. Participants will learn new skills and practice them in group, and will further their practice between group meetings with weekly homework assignments.
These groups will be run by Denise R. Wolf, MA, ATR-BC, ATCS, LPC
